Mumbai, Oct. 3 -- Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's romantic comedy "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari" performed exceptionally well at the box office on its first day of release. The film earned 10.11 crore in India on Friday, making it one of the biggest rom-com openings of 2025.

There was already tremendous buzz surrounding the film. Produced under the Dharma Productions banner, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has previously helmed hits like "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" and "Badrinath Ki Dulhania." Audiences have loved Varun and Janhvi's chemistry. The film's music, comedy, and lavish production values also make it a must-see in theaters.
