Mumbai, July 24 -- Smriti Irani recently reacted to Bollywood's silence during Operation Sindoor, launched by the Indian Army in response to the terror attack that killed 26 civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In the interview, Irani said that if an actor does not stand with the country and their silence hurts people, then the common citizen can protest by switching off the TV.

"If someone is not with the country and their silence hurts you, then stop watching them," she said in an interview to India Today.
