On hearing the news of Shyam Benegal's death, a wave of mourning ran among his fans. He passed away on December 23, 2024 at 6:30 pm. Shyam Benegal's last journey will be completed today, Tuesday, at 2 pm at Shivaji Park Electric Crematorium in Mumbai.
