Mumbai, April 5 -- Mumbai Police on Friday opposed the bail plea of Sharif-ul-Islam Shahzad Fakir, accused of attacking actor Saif Ali Khan. Sharif was arrested in January when he allegedly barged into Saif Ali Khan's Bandra house and attacked him with a knife.
In its written report filed in the court, the police said that the knife fragment found near Saif Ali Khan's spine matches the fragment found at the scene and the knife recovered from the accused. Police said that all these three fragments belong to the same weapon with which the actor was attacked.
