Mumbai, April 15 -- A surprising twist has emerged in the knife attack case involving Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. According to a News18 report citing the Mumbai Police chargesheet, fingerprints recovered from Saif's home mostly do not match those of the accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam.

The police had collected around 20 fingerprint samples from various parts of Saif's house, including the bathroom door, a bedroom sliding door, and a cupboard. These were then sent to the CID's Fingerprint Bureau for examination. Shockingly, 19 out of the 20 fingerprints do not match with Shariful Islam. Only one fingerprint belonging to him was found-on the eighth floor of the building, but not inside Saif's flat.
