Mumbai, March 29 -- Shariful Islam Shahzad, accused of attacking Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, has filed a bail plea in the Mumbai Sessions Court. Through his lawyer, Shariful has claimed that he has not committed any crime and the case registered against him is completely false. Police arrested him from Thane on January 19.

According to the police, on the morning of January 16, Shariful entered Saif's 12th floor apartment and attacked him with a knife six times and fled.
