Mumbai, Feb. 15 -- Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has filed a petition in the Dindoshi Sessions Court seeking bail. The petition has been filed against the three-month sentence imposed on him in a cheque bouncing case. Last month, the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court held Ram Gopal Varma's company guilty in a cheque bouncing case filed by a Vile Parle-based firm. Since Ram Gopal Varma was not present in the court, the court also issued a non-bailable warrant against him.
