Mumbai, May 25 -- The Bollywood debut of Govinda's son Yashvardhan Ahuja has suffered a significant setback even before cameras could roll. The 28-year-old aspiring actor was slated to star alongside Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan, in a Hindi remake of the 2023 Telugu romantic drama 'Baby'. But Babil's sudden exit from the project has led to an indefinite delay, casting uncertainty over Yashvardhan's debut vehicle.

Directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh, who also helmed the original Telugu version, the Hindi remake was scheduled to commence filming on May 5.
