Mumbai, Jan. 31 -- T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar has been striving to bring the biopic of his father, the late music baron Gulshan Kumar, to the big screen since 2017. Titled "Mogul," the film was officially announced with Akshay Kumar essaying the lead role under Subhash Kapoor's direction. However, the Khiladi Kumar walked out of the project due to creative differences. A year later, Aamir Khan came on board as an actor and co-producer, but the project faced another setback when he also stepped away following sexual misconduct allegations against director Subhash Kapoor during the #MeToo movement in 2018.
