Mumbai, June 14 -- Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has once again come under fire for a parody song on Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The song was performed during a show in March, in which no one was directly named, but its context created a ruckus in political circles.
BJP leader and MLA Darekar had moved a special contempt notice in the state Legislative Council over the song. He claimed that Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction spokesperson Samara Ankhare was also dragged into the matter. Legislative Council Secretary Chaudhary Bhole has confirmed that the council's Akhlaq Ram Shinde has sent a notice to BJP leader Prasad Lad's Gurgaon committee in the matter.
