Mumbai, July 17 -- Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly and director Abrid Shine are embroiled in a legal dispute. A man from Thalayolaparambu area of Kerala has filed a police complaint accusing both of them of financial fraud. An investigation has started in this matter.

This complaint has been filed by a person named PS Shamnas, who was the co-producer of Nivin Pauly's 2022 film 'Maha Veeryar'. In the complaint, Shamnas has said that after the film failed at the box office, Nivin Pauly assured him of Rs 95 lakh. Along with this, he promised that he would be made a producer partner in director Abrid Shine's next film 'Action Hero Biju 2'.
