Mumbai, Aug. 7 -- Punjabi singer Jagseer Singh alias Kala alias Baaz Saran has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an old case of smuggling 36.150 kg opium. Baaz Saran was absconding for a long timeand was declared a fugitive in 2016.

It is being said that he kept changing his identity and hideouts to avoid arrest. During this time, he introduced himself as an emerging Punjabi singer on social media and gained a good fan following on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. He has more than 32 thousand followers on Instagram. NCB took a big step in this matter in May 2025.
