Mumbai, Dec. 6 -- The big-scale action thriller Dhurandhar kicked off its theatrical run with a strong Day-1 showing, one of the biggest openings of 2025, signalling renewed audience appetite for large-scale, intense Hindi cinema. The gamble taken by producers at Jio Studios and B62 Studios and director Aditya Dhar has been rewarded.

According to early figures, Dhurandhar has grossed 28.60 crore on first day across, soaring past the collections of the top openers of year, including Chhaava. The overall Hindi-version occupancy hovered with major urban centres like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai registering solid turnout. In international circuits too, the film has opened big.
