Mumbai, March 4 -- Kiran Rao's directorial comeback Laapataa Ladies has been getting a positive response from the audience. Set in the rural village of India, the film follows a story of two lost brides filled with a thought- provoking instances and comedy.

The film has opened up at Rs 75 lakhs but managed to show a growth over weekend.

On Saturday, the film made Rs 1.60 crores and Rs 1.8 crores on Sunday.

The total collection of the film stand at Rs 4 crores for now.If the film continues with the same pace, it will be able to come up with greater numbers soon.

Directed by Kiran, the film has been produced by Aamir Khan's Aamir Khan Productions and released on March 1.
