Mumbai, Aug. 7 -- The Bombay High Court on Wednesday dismissed the petition filed against Ayushmann Khurrana's film 'Dream Girl 2'. This petition was filed by writer Asim Bagchi, in which he alleged copyright infringement by calling the story of the film a copy of his script written in 2007.
According to PTI, Justice R.I. Chhagla, while giving the verdict, said that just having a similar plot or character does not constitute a case of copyright infringement. The court clarified that there is no solid basis for copyright infringement in Asim Bagchi's petition.
