Mumbai, April 17 -- Filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap has expressed his displeasure over the ongoing controversy over the release of the film 'Phule'.The film is based on the life of social reformers Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule, whose release was scheduled for April 11, but its release was postponed after the Brahmin community in Maharashtra raised objections. Now the film is likely to release on April 25.

Anurag Kashyap expressed his displeasure on Instagram story and wrote, "The first play of my life was on Jyotiba and Savitribai Phule.
