While the country is celebrating Independence Day today, Adnan, who hails from Pakistan, is celebrating his birthday. His childhood was spent in Pakistan. Despite his mother being from Kashmir and father from Pakistan, Adnan had a deep attachment to India. Due to this affinity, he took Indian citizenship in 2016.
