India, April 1 -- Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is perhaps one the worst kept secrets in the world of gaming. Yesterday we reported on the leaked trailer for the game. The leaks also stated that it would release today, and it surely has, but only for PS4.

But fret not, it is a timed exclusive. Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will release on PC and Xbox on April 30 th , Activision has announced. It will be available for download from Battle.net on PC, and pre-orders will be available soon.

The remastered version of the classic only has a single player campaign and no multiplayer or spec ops mode. The new release, however, includes improved textures, new animations, 4k support and HDR.
