India, Dec. 30 -- 2019 has been quite an eventful year for esports, in India and throughout the world. Especially when it comes to the number of tournaments and prize pools. This year we had two $30 million tournaments alone. One of them was from Dota 2's TI9 and the other, Fortnite's. And not coincidentally at all, this year's top 10 esports earners are from these two games.

The top 5 positions have been bagged by the TI9 squad of OG. This is the second time they have won The International, which is the first time for any team in Dota 2. Jerax , Ana, N0tail, Topson and Ceb each made upwards of $3 million this year, most of the money coming from TI9.
