Punjab, Jan. 15 -- Train traffic in Ayodhya will be disrupted from January 16 to January 22 as a result of track doubling and electrification work being done in advance of the Ram Temple's consecration event. Thirty-five trains, including the Doon Express, will operate on alternative routes while ten trains, including the Vande Bharat Express, have been cancelled.

According to Rekha Sharma, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Northern Railway, Lucknow Division, the Vande Bharat Express from Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar was already postponed until January 15 in order to complete track maintenance.
