Punjab, Dec. 24 -- The Lion King, has made a grand entry at the Indian box office. Directed by Barry Jenkins, the live-action movie hit theaters on December 20, 2024, and had stiff competition from other major films, including Pushpa 2, which was already performing exceptionally well. Despite the crowded lineup, Mufasa has managed to make its own success story, earning the title of the third-highest first-weekend Hollywood grosser in India this year.
