Fiji, Nov. 25 -- The Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) has paid tribute to the late Foreign Secretary Lorin Robert, describing the long-serving Micronesian diplomat as a central figure in Pacific fisheries diplomacy and a champion of regional cooperation.
In a statement, the Commission said it "conveys its sadness at the passing of Lorin S. Robert" and honoured his decades of service, calling his death "a tremendous loss for the FSM and the Pacific region."
