United States, Sept. 25 -- Palau's President and co-chair of the High-Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy says world leaders needs political will to save our oceans.

The High-Level Panel this week launched a call to Ocean-Climate Action at the UN Climate Action Summit Monday.

Speaking at the Ocean Wave side event hosted by Norway and Palau in New York, Tommy Remengesau said the two years of ocean action that lie ahead will continue to gain traction.

"It's is the political will that is a big challenge, we knew that from day one and we have to walk the talk, put your money where your mouth is or come up with the policies that matters and that is where we right now, let's walk the talk.
