Fiji, Sept. 26 -- Palau President Surangel Whipps Jr has called for stronger global partnerships to help Small Island Developing States (SIDS) turn their vulnerabilities into resilience, as he welcomed progress on the newly established SIDS Centre of Excellence.
"In the midst of this demanding High-Level Week, it is always a special moment when we, as SIDS leaders, friends, and global partners, can gather to reconnect and reaffirm our shared vision for the resilient prosperity of Small Island Developing States," he said.
