Fiji, Oct. 2 -- Pacific Ocean Commissioner highlights key challenges facing climate and ocean change facing the Pacific

The Pacific Ocean Alliance (POA) meeting Suva this week has been described as convening at a 'particularly crucial moment in the history of our region, a moment of great risk but also of great potential.'

Pacific Ocean Commissioner, Dame Meg Taylor made this comment in light of the new IPCC report on the impacts of climate change on oceans and cryosphere which reinforced the growing global concern of a climate emergency facing planet earth.
