Fiji, Sept. 17 -- The Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) has secured a new headquarters in Brussels, a milestone that leaders say reflects a revitalised organisation ready to meet the challenges of the Global South.
Secretary-General Moussa Batraki signed the deed of purchase, calling it a defining moment since the organisation's founding in 1976.
He said the move symbolises a "renewed OACPS" shaped by the revised Georgetown Agreement and driven by unity, shared aspirations, and a common voice on global issues.
The new headquarters comes as the OACPS celebrates its 50th anniversary.
