Fiji, Feb. 4 -- The Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) has marked the handover of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with leadership transitioning from the Solomon Islands to the Republic of Gambia under the principle of equitable regional rotation set out in the Revised Georgetown Agreement.
OACPS Secretary-General Moussa Saleh Batraki commended the outgoing President, Solomon Islands Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade Peter Shanel Agovaka, for steering the Council through a demanding period.
