Fiji, Oct. 22 -- Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has confirmed that deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica, has stepped down from Cabinet following charges laid against him by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).

"Today, I received a communication from Manoa Kamikamica informing me of his decision to step down from Cabinet and from his position as Deputy Prime Minister," Rabuka said in a statement Tuesday.

He said Kamikamica's final day serving as deputy Prime Minister and Minister would be today, Tuesday 22 October 2025.
