Celebrity chef encourage fresh local food for Early Childhood Development

Robert Oliver, Celebrity Chef and host of Pacific Islands Food Revolution has encourage Pacific Islanders to eat more local fresh food instead of processed food sold in supermarkets.
Addressing the 2019 Early Childhood Development (ECD) Forum in Nadi, Oliver said he grew up in Fiji, in an era before junk and processed food, before Communicable Diseases (NCDs) was talked about.
"The way we ate was fundamentally out of the the market with the recipes that Pacific grandmother still cook over the course of a generation, local food had been replaced by convenience and processed foods with shocking effects on Pacific health.
