Bhubaneswar, Feb. 14 -- A youth was allegedly stabbed over previous enmity on Friday night in Odisha's Dhenkanal district, sustaining a penetrating abdominal injury. He was later rescued by villagers and shifted to hospital, where he underwent treatment.
The victim has been identified as Chandan Mallick of Rodang village under Bhuban Police Station limits. According to reports, the incident occurred while he was returning home with household ration items. A group of youths allegedly attacked him with a sharp knife and sticks. The knife reportedly pierced through his abdomen.
