Festive celebrations turned tragic in Subarnapur village under Banki police station limits when a young man collapsed and died of suspectedheart attack' while dancing to DJ music during an idol immersion ceremony.
According to eyewitnesses, the youth was enthusiastically dancing in front of the DJ sound system as the immersion procession was underway. Suddenly, he complained of sharp pain in his chest, staggered, and collapsed to the ground.
Alarmed by the incident, fellow villagers rushed to his aid and immediately shifted him to the Banki Sub-Divisional Hospital. Despite their efforts to save him, doctors declared him dead.
