Yashasvi Jaiswal, a rising star in Indian cricket, has made a u-turn and reversed his earlier decision to leave the Mumbai domestic cricket team.

The 21-year-old batsman has requested the Mumbai Cricket Association to play for Mumbai in the 2025-26 season, following a month of speculation about his possible move to Goa.

Initially, Jaiswal had requested a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to join Goa, who were eager to have him lead their side in the Ranji Trophy's Elite Division following their successful promotion.
