Bhubaneswar, Feb. 5 -- The first World Odia Language Conference underway at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar has been extended for three more days. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced this on Monday.

The three-day-long first-of-its-kind festival based on the Odia language kick-started at Janata Maidan on February 3. The Chief Minister had inaugurated the event.

The conference was scheduled to conclude on Monday. But, the Chief Minister extended it for three more days. He also announced that the conference would be organised once in every five years.
