A world-class sports complex will be built in Bhubaneswar with a budget allocation of Rs 1,000 crore, announced Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during the day-long World Athletics Bronze-Level Continental Tour competition at Kalinga Stadium on Sunday.
He also revealed that high-standard stadiums will be constructed in every block of the State, with Rs 4,124 crore earmarked for the project over the next four years. The infrastructure will be strengthened with the aim of enhancing sports facilities statewide.
