Bhubaneswar, Feb. 18 -- A shocking case of alleged domestic violence came to light on Wednesday in Odisha's Bolangir district, where a woman was reportedly strangled to death by her husband in Jamapada village under Sindhekela police limits.

According to reports, frequent arguments had been taking place between the husband and wife over various issues. However, the exact trigger behind the fatal incident is yet to be ascertained. Pushpanjali Rana of Khuntiapada lost her life in the alleged assault, sending shockwaves through the locality.
