Bhubaneswar, Nov. 1 -- A serious allegation of rape has emerged from the Dharmasala outpost area under Birmaharajpur police station in Sonepur district, Odisha. A young woman, employed at a private company near Hikudi village, filed a complaint stating that she was allegedly raped after being sprayed in the face by unidentified individuals.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on Friday evening while the woman was returning home from work. Near the ITI, she was reportedly approached by three masked youths who allegedly dragged and pushed her before spraying an unknown substance on her face. She alleged that she was raped following the attack.
