A woman was allegedly set on fire by her in-laws for dowry in Kahneipura village under Khallikote police station limits in Odisha's Ganjam district on Monday.
The victim, Arati Parida, was rescued in a half-burnt condition and admitted to hospital. She was later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for further treatment.
According to the victim's family, Arati's mother-in-law and brother-in-law poured petrol on her and set her on fire on Monday morning.
