India, Jan. 30 -- Odisha is set to endure a rise in temperature starting today, predicted the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar. Hence, an alert has been issued for several parts of Odisha. The alarming weather pattern is predicted to cause a significant spike in temperature.
This rise in temperature has been attributed to the departure of winter, which leaves the state with no relief from the heat for at least the next week.
Currently, temperatures across Odisha are between 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above the seasonal normal range. The mercury is expected to remain high both day and night over the coming four to five days, reports said.
