Bhubaneswar, July 27 -- In view of the declining trend of Covid-19 cases in the State, speculations are rife that the Puri Srimandir administration may consider lifting of the darshan curbs for devotees in the first week of August.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration is going to have a crucial meeting on August 4. While the meeting (virtual) will be presided by the chief administrator of the Srimandir, Puri collector, SP and CDMO among others are likely to attend the discussion.

Darshan of the Holy Trinity by devotees has been barred since the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic hit the State in April this year.
