After being discarded from the Indian team for a long time, veteran batsman Karun Nair has hit a purple patch by scoring aplenty in domestic cricket and cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).
Around three years back, Nair, only the second Indian to score a triple-century in Test cricket, Karun was strangely excluded from the Indian team without any valid reason. Since then, he has been out of favour by the BCCI selectors.
In response, former India player Ambati Rayudu heaped praises on Nair for holding on long with his dream of playing for India again, something which is not fulfilled yet.
