Bhubaneswar, Jan. 29 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) intensified its probe on Thursday into the bomb explosion that had recently rocked Azad Nagar in Sundarpada area of Bhubaneswar.

A special NIA team reached the hospital to record statements of those injured in the blast. Investigators believe the incident may be linked to a larger and more serious conspiracy.

According to official sources, the investigating agency has detected the smell of a planned plot behind the explosion. As part of the investigation, the NIA is questioning several individuals, including the owner of the house where the blast occurred, and conducting marathon interrogations to uncover the truth behind this deadly blast.
