Bhubaneswar, June 19 -- Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next five days starting today, India Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar predicted on Sunday.

According to a tweet of IMD, Bhubaneswar, "Several districts in Odisha are likely to experience heavy (7 cm to 11 cm) to very heavy (11 cm-20 cm) rainfall in the next five days."

"The pre-monsoon rain in the State is paving the way for Monsoon advancement," the regional weather office informed in the tweet.

Meanwhile, the regional met office has issued yellow warning for several districts for the next five days in view of the rainfall activity.
