Bhubaneswar, Nov. 30 -- New Delhi: Quick thinking and timely action of CISF personnel helped save the life of a 50-year-old passenger riding a Delhi Metro as they performed a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) process on him on the platform without waiting for medical assistance.

Punjab resident Bharat Bhushan was travelling towards Huda City Centre along with his daughter when he complained of uneasiness and suffocation around 9.30 am inside the train.

"The Metro train driver informed the Station Controller at Ghitorni station, who in turn alerted the Shift In-charge CISF Sub-Inspector SK Yadav," the CISF said.
