Odisha Vigilance has instituted another case against Kishore Kumar Sahani, Senior Assistant at City Hospital under the Office of the CDMO, Cuttack, for allegedly misappropriating government funds worth over Rs 1.24 crore.
According to officials, the case was registered under Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 24 dated 21.08.2025, under Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(c) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018.
The embezzlement pertains to user fee collections during Sahani's tenure at City Hospital. He has been remanded to judicial custody till September 16, 2025.
