Bhubaneswar, Jan. 11 -- The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on Sunday advised all Driving License (DL) holders and vehicle owners to update their mobile numbers through online platforms to ensure better access to transport-related services.

According to the Ministry, the DL holders and vehicle owners can upload or update their registered mobile numbers using the Vahan and Sarathi portals. The move is aimed at making various transport services more accessible and efficient for citizens.

Officials said that updating the mobile numbers will help users receive important alerts, notifications, and service-related information linked to the driving licences and vehicle registrations.
