Union Cabinet Approves Schemes To Boost Domestic Electronics Manufacturing
Bhubaneswar, March 21 -- New Delhi: The Union Cabinet has approved several schemes to boost domestic manufacturing of electronic components, semiconductors, and mobile segments. The major decisions have been taken to enhance manufacturing in the domestic ecosystem.
In its meeting on Friday, the Cabinet approved a 'production-linked incentive scheme (PLI)' scheme for promoting the manufacturing of electronic components and semiconductors' (SPECS) and Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) 2.0?.
