The University Grants Commission (UGC) as directed Universities and Colleges to create supernumerary seats for international students in Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes in higher educational institutions (HEIs).
In its latest notice, the UGC has highlighted that Internationalization of higher education is one of the essential aspects of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
