Bhubaneswar, Feb. 4 -- Five-time champions India produced a memorable run chase to storm into the final of the ICC Men's Under-19 World Cup, successfully hunting down a record target of 311 against Afghanistan in the second semi-final. Opener Aaron George led the charge with a magnificent century, guiding India to one of the finest chases in the tournament's history.
India got early momentum through George and teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who added 90 runs for the opening wicket. Sooryavanshi once again underlined his growing reputation with a fearless 68 off just 33 balls, keeping India well ahead of the required rate during the powerplay.
