Fans were shocked to see the child star from Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide struggling to survive, prompting an outpouring of concern online.

The videos reached Chase's former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee, who played Simon 'Cookie' Nelson-Cook. Moved by the footage, Lee traveled to Riverside to help.
