Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- What began as a family tragedy has spiraled into one of Punjab's most explosive murder probes. The death of ex-DGP Mohammad Mustafa's son, once dismissed as an overdose, is now under the scanner thanks to a trail of disturbing social media posts that hint at betrayal, fear, and conspiracy within the family.

Former Punjab DGP Mohammad Mustafa and his wife, ex-minister Razia Sultana, have been booked by Haryana Police for the alleged murder of their 35-year-old son, Aqil Akhtar. Aqil was found unconscious at his home in Panchkula's Mansa Devi Complex on October 16 and was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital. The family initially claimed a drug overdose, and the case was closed after post-mortem.
